At the Caledon Fall Fair 11 years ago when I was two.........I was riding my 12hh
pony tonney in leadline! My pony was the best in the world! I would get walked around the ring on my pony, as I looked so
happy and proud. Confident that I was going to win! Untill....... Tonney all the sudden stopped and shook. Me being so light
at the time fell off and whispered "mommy mommy mommy, I fall down go boom" my mom turned around and threw me back up. The
good news about this is that the judge had turned his back and to our surprise guess what I won???? I won a hoof pick and,
and,and A FIRST place ribbion.
The great Buck!
One day last year at the caledon fall fair western horse show I was riding
my horse Woody. He was amazing! He was such a big chicken though! We finally got him over being scared of ribbions and bags.
I was rding him in the class Walk, Jog. He was doing amazing! He jogged really slow and straight also he listened to me. The
words I heard were "all riders to the center of the ring please" I walked to the center of the ring and waited. All i hear
is "in reserve is so and so on?"........ all the way up to the final two me and another horse. "in second place is...........so
and so on laura's mito" I did it! I won! As I was going to get my ribbion he was fine but then when I won the stuffed animal
woody desided to flip out and buck! He finally got me off and the judge came over and told me when the horse stops bucking
to get back on him! My mom said that the judge told her that who ever is coaching me to keep me there. My coaches were cathy
wilkonson and mark grice! The judge said he loved the way I rode and the way my horse went! So the bucking was well worth
the first!
